Tahir Khan appointed Convener of District Wakf Board
Tahir Khan, resident of Udaipur, is appointed as the Convener of District Wakf Board by Rajasthan State Wakf Board, Jaipur.

As per the policies, Tahir Khan has to present all the reports to the President of the Board and shall also check the reports to be in the right condition.
Board is concerned that it is not getting the timely report on work regime of the Wakf Property.
After handling the workload, Khan made media aware of all his preferences as to what he would do for improving the current conditions of the Wakf properties.
Khan also mentioned that first of all he shall make the New Rent Policy applicable on the Wakf property of Udaipur city and said that as per the telephonic conversation that he had with Raghuveer Meena, M.P, Udaipur, and District Collector, Hemant Ghera , who gave him an assurance that they shall co-operate with the Convener in all his work related to the Board.
The Convener updated to the District Collector about NAREGA scheme that is running in many cities and showed his interest that the same could be introduce in for the better development of Wakf properties in Udaipur city.
Approximately, 350 Wakf properties are registered under the Board in Udaipur district namely Delhi Gate to Guru Nanak chauraha, Collectory circle to Court Chauraha, Shastri Circle Chauraha, Muslim Guest House, Anjuman etc.
According to Tahir Khan, if rent could be collected from the registered property under the New Rent Policy of Wakf Board then new schools , colleges and universities could be open for Muslims from the accumulated monies.
