Tourism Exchange between Rajasthan and Nepal Begins

To promote tourism in Rajasthan and Nepal, Sahitya Kala Manch New Delhi and Embassy of Nepal had jointly organized a seminar ‘Destination Nepal’ today at Trident Hotel, Udaipur. The ambassador from Nepal along with Minister of Economy of Nepal addressed the seminar, in which various possibilities of tourism, business and cultural exchange was discussed.

To promote tourism in Rajasthan and Nepal, Sahitya Kala Manch New Delhi and Embassy of Nepal had jointly organized a seminar ‘Destination Nepal’ today at Trident Hotel, Udaipur. The ambassador from Nepal along with Minister of Economy of Nepal addressed the seminar, in which various possibilities of tourism, business and cultural exchange was discussed.

K.P Dhakal, Ambassador of Nepal, informed that 28% tourists in Nepal come from India. To increase this percentage, the seminar was organized. In the seminar they discussed other possibilities of cultural and business exchange between the two countries.

Dhakal further added that a guide line will be developed with the help of Udaipur Hotel Association, so that tourism exchange can be implemented.

Vishnu Prasad Lamsal, Minister of Economy, Nepal Government, informed, “Nepal will participate in every tourist activities of Rajasthan. Special package would be provided to tourists from Rajasthan, so that a better relation could be developed between both the countries.”

Members of Udaipur Tourism Department, Hotel Association and District Collector were also part of this seminar.
