50 additional auto tippers have been procured by administration towards improving the cleanliness of Udaipur. These tippers will soon be deployed for door-to-door garbage collection.

Health Committee President, Om Chittora said that currently there are 65 tippers that are serving towards door-to-door garbage collection. In bigger wards there are issues due to non-timely reaching of these tippers. In the coming days, the garage department will transfer 50 additional tippers to health department making it more convenient to collect door-to-door garbage.

Besides these tippers will also be used for garbage collection during large scale programme/rally organisations.

Chittora informed that with employment of 1070 cleanliness workers, focus is now on increasing the equipments for improving cleanliness. With increase in cleanliness workers, the amount of garbage collection has also increased calling for increase in equipment.
