A two days nationwide strike, called by 11 registered trade unions to protest over the issue of price rise and against some government policies, is going to affect many general services for the public. Trade Unions active in the city of lakes will also participate in the strike. All the public sector banks and some private sector banks have agreed to lend support to the strike. To make the matters for the public worse, petrol and diesel supply could also be hindered. Jumping into the wagon, political parties and other political outfits have supported the strike in order to get as much political mileage with it as possible.
