Udaipur’s top administrative authorities conveyed their best wishes and regards to the citizens of Udaipur for the festival of Deepawali which is on Tuesday 13 Nov.
From the office of Divisional commissioner, District collector to top police officials and chairperson of Municipal Council appealed Udaipurites to enjoy the festival as a responsible citizen and maintain peace, law and order.
Beside this, the officers also assured high security to prevent any illegal activities during the festive time.
While, Deepawali is celebrated with enthusiasm and zest in the whole country, Udaipur the city if Lakes has its own distinctiveness as the serene beauty of Udaipur increases with the lighting decoration everywhere and the city looks all the more gorgeous.
Subodh Kumar Agarwal, Divisional Commissioner
Div. Commissioner Subodh Kumar Agarwal said, “There are laws regarding the usage of loud speakers and burning firecrackers, so people should celebrate Deepawali with joy and enthusiasm, but also keep the aforesaid laws in mind and give it a high priority like a responsible citizen”.
Vikas Sitaram Bhale, District Collector
District Collector and District Magistrate Vikas Sitarm Bhale in his message to the people of Udaipur said, “I wish to all the residents of Udaipur a happy and prosperous Deepawali. He assured that security officials are on high alert regarding the festival season and special magistrates are appointed to keep an eye on any suspected activities. Fire brigades are deployed on short notice at different places”.
Mohammad Yaseen Pathan, Additional District Collector
Additional District Collector conveyed his high regards to the people of Udaipur and wished happy and prosperous Deepawali, he also appealed the people for cooperation where ever it is required and said that police administration has already taken steps for the deployment of enforcements. Yaseen Pathan also said that I wish Deepawali will bring prosperity in Udaipur and hope people will celebrate it with unity.
He also requested the people to co-operate with the administration on the burning issue of Lake Conservation and No Construction Zone

T. C. Damor, Range I. G. also wished Deepawali compliments and appealed to the people to celebrate Deepawali safely, especially for children. He said, “all the police officials have been ordered to keep a high level of vigilance as well as we have deployed constables on different places, traffic routes are also been diverted during this period to avoid congestion”.

Hari Prasad Sharma, Superintendent of Police (City), sending his wishes said that this Deepawali will bring happiness to the residents of Udaipur and also appealed to celebrate safe Deepawali. He said that undercover policemen are deployed to keep an eye on any anti social activity during the season. He also gave his best wishes on the Fesival of Deepawali.

Additional S. P. Tejraj Singh had also gave hearty wishes to the people of Udaipur and wished them a happy and flourishing Deepawali.
Rajni Dangi, Chairperson Municipal Council
Rajni Dangi has been seen quite relaxed after the successful accomplishment of cultural programs at Dussehra-Deepawali Fair and also for convincing State Government to move SLP over “No Construction Zone”.
She extends her warm wishes for the Festival of Deepawali and wished that this festival will bring prosperity, peace, development and happiness to the people of Udaipur. She said that we wish that every person will celebrate this deepawali with love and unity.
