Udaipur Bandh, as part of Bharat Bandh, passed off peacefully without any untoward incident. The bandh was called against the irregularities associated with GST. GST will come into force from midnight today.

The business community kept their institutions shut in support of the Bandh. Petrol pumps also stayed shut from 8 am till 2pm.

The Bandh in Udaipur was coordinated and supported by the members of Udaipur Chamber of Commerce and Industries (UCCI). All allied members gave their full cooperation to the bandh. Members of UCCI gathered near Surajpole Control room and carried out a rally till Collectorate where a memorandum was given in the name of Prime Minister of India.

Schools and Colleges remained unaffected due to the Bandh.
