Udaipur, Feb 14, 2026 - The Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC) has taken a major step toward modernising key bus stands across the State under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. The redevelopment project will cover bus stands in eight major cities of Rajasthan, including Udaipur, with an estimated investment ranging from Rs 100 crore to Rs 300 crore per project.

The corporation has invited Expressions of Interest (EOI) from private developers under the PPP model. According to sources, RSRTC had earlier issued the EOI for market sounding, inviting suggestions from developers. The EOI was opened on Friday (February 13), with nine developers participating in the process. The process is currently being handled at the Jaipur RSRTC headquarters.

The redevelopment will include modern passenger facilities, commercial complexes, parking, digital services and improved traffic management.

Expected Improvements

  • Upgrade basic infrastructure at bus stands
  • Provide modern passenger amenities
  • Strengthen urban transport systems
  • Accelerate development through private investment

Development under PPP Model

  • Ground floor: Bus operations and passenger facilities
  • First floor: Staff offices
  • Upper floors: Commercial use such as hotels, malls, offices and shops

The plan includes the following cities and land allocations:
