Kanji ka Hata, the highest covid 19 positive area in Udaipur, along with neighboring Helawari is now deserted.
Directives of the World Health Organisation, directs that highly infected areas in a pandemic need to be emptied and sanitized as well as residents need to be quarantined for a specific number of days in a remote location.
In keeping with the directives the Kanji ka Hata area, which accounts for over 85 cases in the total positive count of 112 in Udaipur has been emptied. This is deemed important to break the corona community spread chain.
Residents of Kanji ka Hata and Helawari have been gradually rounded up with their belongings and have been shifted to Pacific College in Bedwas. They will be screened and kept under quarantine in Pacific. Nearly 15 buses have been used to transport the residents from Kanji ka Hata to Bedwas.
Once the area is emptied, every corner of the locality will be sanitized to mitigate the risk of the virus being physically present in the open area.
This is on the same lines as to what happened in Ramganj area of Jaipur.
