Udaipur Knife Attack Boy Out of Danger Recovering fast, says District Collector of Udaipur

Following incidents of rumours doing the rounds in Udaipur after Section 163 has been imposed and Internet Services shutdown for a majority of the residents, the District Collector has issued a public message to maintain peace and harmony.

The Collector, Arvind Poswal, in his public message has assured that he has personally seen the victim in hospital and that he is stable and his condition is improving. The Collector requested the residents of Udaipur not to fall prey to messages on social media or word of mouth, without these updates coming from the administration.

Poswal also said that the Chief Minister of Rajasthan has personally ordered a team of doctors to fly down from Jaipur to Udaipur to observe the injured childs condition and ensure that he is up and about as early as possible.

He further added that following imposition of Sec 163 in Udaipur and shutting down mobile internet services, the leaders of both factions have met the administration and assured that there will be no altercation OR untoward incident in the sensitive areas or otherwise and that the administration will get the full support from both the factions. He said that markets have opened up and will resume normally shortly.
