Udaipur, March 12, 2026 - Amid confusion regarding LPG cylinder availability owing to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, the district administration in Udaipur has assured that the LPG supply system remains fully secure and adequate. District Collector Namit Mehta chaired a meeting with LPG distributors on Wednesday (March 11) at the Collectorate Mini Auditorium in the presence of administrative officials.

The Collector said there should be no disruption in LPG supply to consumers and any irregularity, hoarding or black marketing will not be tolerated at any level and strict action will be taken. Collector Mehta appealed to citizens not to panic regarding LPG cylinders. He assured that adequate stock of domestic LPG cylinders is available in the district, and consumers who have already booked cylinders will receive them without disruption as per rules. He also urged people not to pay attention to rumours.

District Supply Officer Manish Bhatnagar informed that 44 LPG distributor firms are operating in the district, including eight distributors of HPCL and 18 each of BPCL and IOCL.
