The much awaited passport office is set for open from Feb 15, 2017.  An inspection meeting towards the same was held yesterday in the presence of State Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria.

To assess the ground situation, Kataria undertook an inspection of the proposed passport office along with Regional Passport Officer Vivek Jeff, Mayor Chandra Singh and Udaipur (rural) legislator Phool Singh Meena.

The team expressed satisfaction with the progress and urged the implementation team to ensure that all shortcomings  are taken care before the proposed date.

As per the local administration, efforts are on to get Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje to inaugurate the passport office.
