Discussion on providing “For Women, By Women” commutation facility will be held in the New Conference hall, Town Hall on Sunday, Jun 26th 2016. Discussions will be held on provision of Pink Autos and Pink Taxi services amongst other options.

Regional Transport Officer Dr. Manna Lal Rawat informed that this brainstorming session is being organised to provide a safer option to female tourists and female students and to give them a feeling of greater comfort and security in the city.

The brainstorming session will include notable thinkers from the city, NGOs running women programme, centres running driving classes, various women colleges amongst others and will offer their suggestions on possible implementation.

Dr Rawat informed that Chief Guest for the programme will be Mayor Chandra Singh Kothari and the programme will be chaired by Smart City Ltd CEO, Siddharth Sihag.
