Udaipur PSLK to be reinstated as a full fledged Passport Seva Kendra
Ministry of Foreign Affairs has now issued orders to convert the Udaipur Passport Seva Laghu Kendra (PSLK) into a full fledged Passport Seva Kendr
Subsequent to the inauguration of the PSLK at Udaipur on 2 June this year, the office has processed around 21,000 passports.
During the inauguration of the PSLK, the Mayor had reiterated that the PSLK be given the status of the PSK. During his recent visit to Udaipur, Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs DM Mule had confirmed that an order to this effect is expected soon.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs has now issued orders to convert the Udaipur Passport Seva Laghu Kendra (PSLK) into a full fledged Passport Seva Kendra.
This will facilitate a daily transaction of 300 passports, which will now take the total number of Passport Seva Kendra in the state to 4, with the other three being Jaipur, Jodhpur and Sikar.
