The advisory guidelines are as below:

  1. Lighting at Events: Excessive lighting arrangements in weddings and other ceremonies should be avoided. In case of a blackout, all lighting should be turned off immediately.
  2. Vigilance in Public Places: Special surveillance should be maintained at public places such as marketplaces, tourist spots, bus stands and railway stations where crowds generally gather, especially during evening and night hours.
  3. Siren Alert System: Special attention should be given to strengthening and expanding the siren alert system. Information regarding sirens should also be disseminated to the public through TV channels, radio, social media and other platforms.
  4. Security of Key Installations: Strict monitoring should be ensured at major religious sites, important tourist destinations and other critical places such as dams, power plants and refineries. In case of any untoward incident, reporting should be done in accordance with the advisory issued by the Central/State Government.
  5. Cybersecurity Measures: To prevent cyberattacks, all critical systems that are operated through computerised mechanisms - such as power supply controls and dam gate operations - must be secured with all necessary precautions.
  6. Essential Commodities Management: Unnecessary hoarding of food items and other essentials used by the public should be prevented through continuous monitoring and appropriate, effective action.
  7. Rumour/Misinformation Control: Efforts should be made to prevent the spread of false rumours and to stop misinformation in a timely manner.

Additionally, a prohibitory order on drones and firecrackers has been issued as a precautionary measure for the entire area of Udaipur district, considering the strategic importance and sensitivity of locations such as the Army areas, Maharana Pratap Airport Dabok, Hindustan Zinc, railway station, bus stand, gas factories, and historical buildings.

The use of drones and firecrackers (pyrotechnics) has been prohibited in all urban and rural areas of Udaipur district from 12:00 pm on May 10 to 12:00 pm on May 15, 2025. Violations of this order will lead to strict action.
