Now the city of lakes will get inspiration and help from world renowned gardens of Kyoto, a city in Japan. Soon both Udaipur and Kyoto will exchange their art and gardening skills.

District Collector Ashutosh Pednekar initiated the talk with gardening experts from Kyoto to visit Udaipur and contribute their talents of gardening for Udaipur, while the local artists will go to Kyoto and exhibit their artworks. This corresponding exchange will help develop both cities.

According to media sources, the collector has already invited Japanese Gardening Experts but due to an ongoing Japan Festival, the representatives are likely to visit Udaipur in January next year.

Many cities of the world, develop their gardens taking inspiration from Kyoto and make themselves sister city of Kyoto.
