It would be the first time that City of Lakes Udaipur is going to host a state level program on 15th August i.e. Independence Day.

The grand event at Maharana Bhopal Stadium will witness flag hoisting, several cultural events, parade, group exercise by students and prize distribution ceremony.

Sunil Arora, Additional Chief Secretary (Home Ministry) directed concerned officials and departments for the preparations. Arora held a meeting at Jaipur administrative secretariat on Friday.

Arora informed, Divisional Commissioner of Udaipur and District Collector of Udaipur will take care of all the arrangements.

The Independence Day function will also include adventurous shows like Tent Pegging, Horse Show, and Motorcycle Show etc by Police Department.

All top administrative officers have prepared for making the event successful.
