Udaipur to increase Tourism Facilities, says Collector

In order to increase tourism in the city, collector Ashutosh A.T Pednekar held a meeting with the district Tourism Development Committee and discussed various means to increase facilities at tourist spots.

In order to increase tourism in the city, collector Ashutosh A.T Pednekar held a meeting with the district Tourism Development Committee and discussed various means to increase facilities at tourist spots.

Mayor Chandra Singh Kothari and Tourism Deputy Director Sumita Saroch discussed various facilities to be introduced at Fateh Sagar including horse riding and camel riding facility, interpretation center and night food court.

Necessary measures were directed to the concerned authority of forest department to repair the cafeteria and flood light at Sajjangarh, construction of proper road leading to Kumbhalgarh, renovation of Maji temple.

With the proposition of Rs. 4 Crore budget for the ancient museums, collector issued orders to open the Ahar museum for government school students and renovate all other museums to Archeological Department’s chief Neeraj Tripathi.

On a different platter, the collector ordered police and officials of department of social justice & empowerment to remove beggars from the tourist spots, bus stands and railway station and work to provide employment, pension, accommodation and food etc. at administration level.
