With the beginning of the New Year, most of the riders were seen wearing helmets today. Traffic Police continued their action to pursue more riders to participate and cooperate in imposing the rule in the city.

Govind Ram, Sub-Inspector, Traffic Police informed, “We restrained ourselves from making any chalans today. We don’t want anyone’s year to begin with a fine.”

“But we made sure that the riders who are still not getting the gist behind our motive, should be informed”, he added.

In a sweet gesture, traffic police also distributed chocolates among the ones who sported helmet whilst driving today.
