Udaipur’s traffic arrangement for Diwali season

A traffic plan has been introduced to manage traffic in Udaipur city during Diwali festival. Police administration has come up with the necessary arrangement like every year to avoid any traffic jam in the inner city area.

Areas to be affected under no-traffic zone will be as follows:

Hathipole to Clock Tower and Jagdish Chowk, Ranj Niwas to Jagdish Chowk, Clock Tower to Mukherjee Chowk, Marshall Choraha and Asthal Choraha to Old control room, Amrit namkin to Old control room and Bapu Bazar-Delhi Gate, Delhi Gate to Ashwini Market and Hathipole, Chandpole to Jagdish Chowk…These areas will be under no-traffic zone from Monday i.e. today until Tuesday from 4 p.m. to midnight 12, Wednesday 4 p.m. until 1 a.m.

Mahalakshmi temple road– From 4 a.m. on Monday until midnight 12 on Thursday it will be no-traffic zone from Rang Niwas to Jagdish Chowk and vice versa. Four wheelers and autos will be prohibited from Chandpole to Jagdish Chowk and City Palace. Two-wheelers can take the route to Hathipole from Chandpole via Clock Tower.
