City’s Urban Improvement Trust (UIT) executed demolition drive at Sukher Circle today. Many marble shops were pushed back in order to obtain additional road space for further road widening work.

The road widening work will start once the encroachment will be completely removed. As per the sources, the sukher circle road is 80ft wide and as per the new plan, the road will be extended to 100ft.

This will lower the traffic pressure from one of the busiest roads used for marble trading activities.
