The UIT Bridge has been closed for traffic till December 31st 2016. The new bridge will be constructed at a level of 3.5 mtrs from the river bed and will cost Rs 3.47 Crore.

During the time of closure, Udaipurites might use the route from Chetak via Panchwati for going towards Saheliyon ki Badi and onwards.  Alternatively the route through Moti Magri Scheme may be used.
