UIT yesterday passed the budget for 2018-19. The Rs 261Cr budget also had a significant amount of investment earmarked for improving the road network.

The major plans for the road network are as follows

1. Rs 2.6 Cr will be spent on road in Bhuwana for vehicles coming from Jodhpur/Abu Road into Udaipur

2. Rs 1.1 Cr earmarked for construction of 100 ft road to join Bhuwana Chouraha to Bedla Pulia

3. Rs 1 Cr for extending the proposed 100 ft road connecting Bedwas Mount View School to Mega Housing Plan to Pindwara bypass

4. Rs 1.1 Cr for expansion of the existing 2 lane road from Rampura Chouraha to Sisarma

5. Rs 55 Lakh for reinforcing the Manoharpura Chikalwas main road and the road adjoining the link channel.

6. Rs 1.1 Cr each for repair and reinforcement of road from Devendra Dham to Mewar Hospital and from Paras junction to Reti Stand.

7. Rs 1.9 Cr for repair and reinforcement of Rani Road
