2 of Udaipur city’s reputed hotels have been issued notices for contaminating Fatehsagar Lake. District administration has become alert after directives issued by High Court for keeping lakes clean. All steps are being taken for repair and maintenance of sewerage systems in the city.

Going ahead with the High Court’s orders, UIT has issued notices to the managers of Hotel Radisson Blu and Hotel Black Heaven which are situated near Fatehsagar Lake. As per reports, the sewerage plant of these hotels is not proper and all the waste is falling into Fatehsagar Lake. Both the hotels have been notified to repair their sewerage system within a week.

As per the notice, Lake Development Authority had inspected the site on 14^th March 2018. Members of Lake Development Authority witnessed contaminated water flowing out of the hotels falling straight into the lake. Managers of both Radisson Blu and Black Heaven hotels have been asked to abide by law failing which strict action would be taken against them.
