14 key points were discussed in the much delayed UIT meeting held today at the UIT premises after a 3 month long wait. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Roop Kumar Khurana.

Key points discussed in the meeting are were:

Rani road to be widened up to 60 fts

It has been proposed to acquire agriculture land for road under section 4(1) of the Land Acquisition Act (1894) and broaden the road from Badi to Shilpgram and Rani Road up to 60 fts wide. Earlier proposal was to broaden the road up to 80 fts but after initial inspection, it was recommended to be broadened only upto 60 ft.

Widening of Gaurav Path done

Work for widening Gaurav Path from Fatehpura circle to Sukher and the associated pavement construction has been completed by M/s Ravi Construction. Transportation has already started on this road. Defect Liability Period of this work got over on 14.09.2011.

Bridge Construction work on Ayad River near Bupalpura completed

Bridge construction from Bhupalpura Ground to New Bhupalura was completed by M/s Sanwariya Constructions and Defect Liability period of this work got over on 21.05.12. Transportation has already started on the bridge.

Bridge construction on Ayad river at Fatehpura has been completed by M/s Ravi Constructions and Defect Liability period of this work got over on 21.05.12. Transportation is already started on the bridge.

Proposal for Drainage Canal Construction work at Swami Nagar

The proposal for Drainage canal work at Swami Nagar is under review. Post the financial and administrative acceptance, work is supposed to start soon. The approximate cost of this work is Rs 98.50 lacs.

Proposal for Drainage Canal Construction work from Keda village to Rajputana Resort

Proposal for Drainage canal work from Keda villageto Rajputan Resort is under review and work will start post financial and administrative acceptance. The approximate cost of this work is Rs 96.25 lacs. This area remained water logged for several months after rains due to lack of proper drainage system. This posed severe health threat due to breeding of mosquitoes in stagnant water.

1.2900 hectare to be regularized in ManwaKheda (Kashipuri )

1.2900 hectare of land in Manwa Kheda will be regularized soon as 50 percent of this land is occupied by colonies. In this plan about 0.7100 hectare land is under state Government. Since land under State Govt. is less than 5 Bighas, UIT can legalize the status of these colonies.

There is a Proposal for two councilors to be appointed as representatives of Nagar Parishad.
