The three day auction of both residential and commercial plots by the Urban Improvement Trust, Udaipur took place at the UIT campus today where plots at various locations will be kept on bid.

Ten residential plots were auctioned by UIT today, which raked in more than Rs. 1.6 Crore as revenue to the trust. These plots were located at Chitrakoot Nagar Block ‘A’. The plots auctioned successfully were plot numbers 445, 454, 455 whose bidding opened at Rs. 1,500 per Sq. feet, while plot numbers 436-P, Q, R, S, T, U and V opened at a minimum bid of Rs. 1,400 per Sq. feet.

Among all plots bid, plot number 445 was sold at the highest rate of Rs. 1,751 per Sq. feet with a size of around 1,210 sq. feet, while the lowest among them was plot number 436-P, which went at Rs. 1,455 per Sq. feet.

According to the information provided by B.P. Sharma, Accounts Officer, UIT, the auction process will continue for two more days, where Twelve Residential plots of Hiran Magri Sector-9 will be auctioned off tomorrow, i.e. 28^th June and Nine Commercial plots are expected to be auctioned off on 30^th June.
