The Urban Improvement Trust (UIT) is in view of constructing community centers in various localities. These centers can be used for social and community events or other family functions.

According to R.P. Sharma, Secretary, UIT, “Proposal of around 3 community centers at various localities of Udaipur is in consideration, though no locality has been finalized till now.”

R.P. Sharma added that at present UIT have 9 community centers across city, demands for which usually increases during wedding season. It is one among the prominent reasons behind the project.

Sharma further informed that these 9 community centers will be renovated shortly and will be equipped will modern amenities.
