Udaipur Municipal Corporation (UMC) continued its anti-encroachment drive today at HiranMagri Sector-3. It moved shopkeepers displaying products on sidewalks and street vendors by the road sides.

According to Durgesh Sharma, President, Revenue Committee, “In anti-encroachment drivetoday, officials restricted shopkeepers from displaying products on sidewalks, while street vendors by the road sides were moved, though none of the products were ceased in the drive.”

Durgesh Sharma also added that in past few weeks UMC has been acting upon the encroachers in various areas across city, including Durga Nursery Road.

DurgaNursery Road has been demarked by engineers. UMC will be working on road widening in respective localities. Durga Nursery Road which presently has 80 feet road would be upgraded to 100 feet, tender for the same has been announced.
