Help and Disaster Management Department of State government recently received the financial sanction of Rs 5.5 crore for the Hydraulic Ladder in Udaipur. A letter in respect of the same was forwarded to Local Corporation Department by Rajni Dangi Chairperson Municipal Council, to expedite the purchace process of the ladder.

The letter requested speeding-up of the process of opening tenders for the hydraulic ladder, it also mentioned that invited tenders should be of international cadre. Council’s letter also asked for guidelines of tender process from counter parts like, ministries and involvement of some higher officials from Fire-brigade.

Sources says that hydraulic ladder is used in fighting with fire hazards in multi-storeyed buildings or towers, proposal of which was sanctioned during visit of G. S. Sandhu in the year 2012.
