In a meeting organised at the Divisional Commissioner office, the Udaipur Municipal Council requested the Chief Secretary, Public Works Department, State Government, J.C. Mahanti, to review certain points related to the development of the no-construction zones in the city.

The UMC requested that the government should release downstream areas of Rao Ji Ka Haata, Hathi Pol, Ghanta Ghar, etc. from the No Construction zone. The UMC said that it was in public interest that such areas should be released.
