UMC Shifts Devra for Road Widening
Udaipur Municipal Corporation (UMC) shifted devra of a local deity from Paras junction today. The temple was re-established at the back of the same area, which would help in removing road side encroachment from the locality.

Durgesh Sharma, President, Revenue Committee, UMC informed that the devra was within the road area and therefore shifted. The place of local deity was shifted back by 3.5 feet towards wall.
Sharma added that UMC is also carrying out a road widening project from Patel Circle to Sector 14 main road. A 100 feet road will be constructed throughout the stretch, which would be connected to 80 feet road recently proposed by UIT at Goverdhan Villas.
