The cultural committee of Udaipur Municipal Corporation (UMC) has announced to honor around 150 students for their academic and cultural excellence. Students securing more than 70% marks in secondary and higher secondary exams for session 2012-13, would be entitled for this honor.

 

The cultural committee of Udaipur Municipal Corporation (UMC) has announced to honor around 150 students for their academic and cultural excellence. Students securing more than 70% marks in secondary and higher secondary exams for session 2012-13, would be entitled for this honor.

According to Hemlata Sharma, President, Cultural Committee, notified that students enrolled with government schools within urban parts of city will be honored. Apart from educational excellence, local performers participated in Diwali Mela-2013 will also be considered for honor.

Hemlata Sharma further informed that this program was planned to be organized in month of September 2013, but due to election procedure it was delayed. It will be for the first time that UMC will be honoring students for academic excellence.

Elaborating on schedule of program Hemlata Sharma added that committee will be finalizing dates by 10th January, while list of students have been demanded from Educational Department, Udaipur. Each students will be given certificate of excellence and a memento.
