UMC to Install Rubber Barriers on Roads More than 80 feet wide

With an aim to curb speeding as well as control traffic, the Udaipur Municipal Corporation has taken a decision to install rubber barriers on all roads in the city that are more than 80 feet wide. Although there is no official data available on how many such roads are present in the city, the Acting Commissioner of the Udaipur Municipal Corporation, J.P. Singhal has issued a Rs. 25 Lakh Work Order to a contractor and directed commencement of work.
