In the Panchayati Elections 2015 of 17 Panchayat Samitis, 187 seats were occupied by BJP, 138 by Congress and 18 by Independent individuals.

In the recent update, 11 points where BJP scored more seats includes Badgaon, Girwa, Gogunda, Kherwada, Kotda, Lasadiya, Salumber, Saayra, Jhalaara, Semari and Kurabad. In Jhadol, Mavli, Sarada, Rishabhdeo and Falsia, Congress showed their strength.
