Amongst the proposals discussed, prominent one included construction of 500 affordable houses at Baidwas village for allotment to financially weaker section of society. According to R.P. Sharma, Secretary, UIT, all buildings taking approval for going beyond 15 meters will be charged at Rs.5/sq feet. The collected amount would be deposited in Snorkel Ladder Fund.
