Traffic arrangements have been made to deal with growing traffic pressure in festive season. Vehicles parked in no-parking zone will be fined as declared by the police department. This will be strictly followed.

Police department has set rules for traffic arrangements seeing the increasing traffic in the festive season. They have also declared that challans would be issued to the vehicle owners who park their vehicles in the no-parking zone. Bhaiyya Lal of traffic branch said that special rules have been made for parking in old city and other main traffic areas of Udaipur. Those not following rules will be strictly dealt with.

To deal with traffic pressures, the following rules have been made:

Tourist vehicles and roadways vehicles and passenger carriers will not be allowed to enter on Surajpole to Delhi Gate route and Collectorate circle. These vehicles will have to take MPUT road, Durga Nursery road, Ashok Nagar road and Shastri circle.

Tourist vehicles cannot go towards RangNiwas, Jagdish Chowk from Dudh talai road. One way traffic will be strictly followed on Hathipole, RangNiwas and Chandpole routes.
