Vibhuti Park, opposite Fateh Sagar will now boast grand statues of 9 eminent personalities of historic importance in its premises. The 8 year long pending project was finalized by Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria on Sunday.

Kataria during his visit to Udaipur was accompanied by Mayor Chandra Singh Kothari, Collector Rohit Gupta, UIT Secretary Ramniwas Mehta, Commissioner Himmat Singh Barhath, Development Committee President Paras Singhvi, Corporator Atul Chandaliya and other officials who took a tour of Vibhuti Park and presented the names of 9 personalities.

The statues that will be erected are of Bappa Rawal, Rana Sanga, Rana Kumbha, Raj Singh, Rani Padmani, Panna Dhay, Keshri Singh Barhath, Vijay Singh Pathik and Govind Gauru. UIT and Nagar Nigam will collaboratively complete the project.
