At one end the administration is spreading messages about lake conservation, lake cleaning, “Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan” and at the other end is guilty of committing the most heinous of pollution crimes. One of our vigilant readers shared this video of a sewerage tank being opened directly into Lake Pichola.

Making a mockery of lake conservation, the video shows the sewerage water being directly pumped into Lake Pichola at the Lal Ghat area. Filthy black water can be seen entering into the lake.
