Udaipur, April 26, 2025 – The State administration is on high alert to prevent any untoward incident in Rajasthan in wake of the recent terror attack in Pahalgam in which at least 26 civilians lost their lives. A circular to this effect has been sent by the Office of the Director General of Police, Rajasthan, to all District Superintendents of Police, Rajasthan, and all Deputy Commissioners of Police, Jaipur/Jodhpur.

As per the order, the following guidelines must be strictly followed to maintain security and law and order in the State:

• Vigilance should be increased in all areas in light of the recent terrorist incident in Jammu and Kashmir.
• Monitor public reactions to this incident, especially posts, messages, and comments going viral on social media. Continuous monitoring must be ensured, and any provocative or objectionable posts should be identified and reported.
• Intelligence networks should be activated in the districts, and sensitive information and intelligence related to this issue should be collected from the respective areas.
• Special vigilance should be exercised in areas with mixed populations, ensuring regular and effective patrolling.
• Based on the assessment of the area's sensitivity, police pickets should be established at sensitive locations as needed.
• If any important or sensitive information is received, it must be immediately reported to senior officers and swift action should be taken.
