A Senior Officer in the Indian Administrative Services – Vikas Sitaram Bhale took official charge as the District Collector and District Magistrate of Udaipur today.  Additional District Collector, B.R. Bhati handled him the charge.

Quoting on the occasion, Bhale said, “I have served on the post of District Collector on a previous occasion too in this region and I am well versed with the problems and issues faced by the general public in this region”.

“Solving the issues would be the top priority.  The initiation of the Lake Tribunal will bring significant changes in Lake Conservation and Management”, he added.

Further, he informed that a study of Lakes of Nainital would be conducted to closely observe on how the city’s lakes can be conserved and managed.

Officials including B.R. Bhati, Abrar Ahmed , Pushpendra Singh and others were present when Bhale took charge.  A report was then presented to him by the officials on the ongoing and proposed activities.
