UIT has started work for widening of the corner junction connecting Durga Nursery road and Kumbharo ka Bhatta. This was a long pending demand and is expected to smoothen the traffic at the junction.

Work on expansion was long pending for want of land possession. The land was finally provided by MB college and RCA allowing widening of the junction. A new boundary wall is now being erected behind the existing boundary wall in both MB college and RCA allowing the desired widening. The widening exercise is expect to cost around Rs 6 Lakh.

UIT Chairman Ravindra Shrimali informed that the old boundary wall will be taken down after the new boundary wall has been erected. Post taking down the boundary wall, work will begin on laying the road. The entire work is expected to be completed by next month end.

Re-engineering of the Kumbharo ka Bhatta chouraha after the widening will facilitate smooth traffic flow from Durga Nursery road towards Kumbharo ka Bhatta, Surajpole and BN College.
