Under the special awareness campaign ‘Rainbow’ a rally was organized today by women groups from different social organizations of Udaipur.

The rally started from RNT Medical College was flagged off by Chief Planning Officer, Sudhir Dave. The women holding banners related to election and voting made a human chain at Delhi gate chouraha.

Election Commission has introduced a week long Rainbow program to spread awareness among local citizens about the importance of election and voting as the Parliamentary Election will take place on 17^th April 2014.

Supporting the cause, all major groups including business organizations, educational institutes, NGOs and other social groups joined hands with the administration.

Tomorrow on 12^th April, a candle march will be held at Fateh Sagar.
