In the general meeting of Zila Parishad today, members alleged that, the third grade teachers are not being appointed according to the guidelines of the Government.

District Head, Madhu Mehta, told the media officials after the meeting that, there are some misapprehensions concerning appointment of the third grade teachers as they are not appointed in the same block where they reside.

“Appointments were not according to the State Government Guidelines”, Mehta continued saying, “due to such appointments, the intention of State Government to appoint large number of teachers to the remote and village based schools will not be fulfilled. Teachers might not join the school where they are posted and will desire to get appointment in the same block where they reside”.

Shayamlal Choudhry, Vice head of district, said, “There is a case of one girl from a poor family in Undri village, she is a merit holder and wants to work for her community and village, and however, she got appointment in Sarada village”.

Madhu Mehta told that, Parishad is looking into the matter and recommendations have been sent to the State Government for consideration.

In the meeting, Girija Vyas and Gajendra Singh Shaktawat were also present.
