Advent Institute of Management Studies, Udaipur organized “Advent HAAT” on Saturday, November 12, 2011. Mr. Anil Shah & Mr. Sunil Khatri, the founder members of Advent have been the inspiration source for the programme.

Dr. Payal Sachdev, Associate Professor at Advent said, “The objective of Advent HAAT is to help the poor & needy people living in the nearby villages by providing them with basic necessities of life. This is a part of the regular CSR activities undertaken by Advent in the nearby areas.

The programme involved collection of clothes, shoes & other articles from faculty & students of Advent and the distribution of these articles in the nearby villages.

The faculty & students collected a huge stock of about 400 men’s’ wear, 250 women’s wear, 150 kids wear, 100 woolen wear and some other usable articles. They also contributed about 150 packets of Biscuits, 300 packets of stationery items and 500 chocolates for children.

These articles were distributed among the children of Govt. schools & the people in neighbouring villages of Dhar, Vanadya and Paldi.
