ATV made by GITS students launched
District Collector Rohit Gupta with J.P Agarwal, Chairman of Geetanjali Group launched an All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) in a vibrant program held on Saturday 28th May. The vehicle is made by group of engineering students of Geetanjali Institute of Technical Studies.
District Collector Rohit Gupta with J.P Agarwal, Chairman of Geetanjali Group launched an All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) in a vibrant program held on Saturday 28th May. The vehicle is made by group of engineering students of Geetanjali Institute of Technical Studies.
Prof Rajiv Mathur has informed that ATV is specially designed for all types of roads. The vehicle can go upto 50-80km/hr and it is 26centimeter above the ground. Other features include embedded password, anti theft alarm etc.
15 students of second, third and fourth year of mechanical, automobile, electrical and electronics department made this vehicle. The project was guided by Prof Rajiv Mathur, Prof Vishnu Agarwal and Dr Manish Sharma.
The team has won 18th position in India and first position in State level during a Mega Championship held in Bhubaneswar.
To motivate youth, the ATV was presented during a rally organized at Fatehsagar where 700 engineering students had also taken part. Kapil Agarwal, vice chairman and Ankit Agarwal CEO of Geetanjali University including Principal Venu Gopal and B.L Jangid, financial controller were also present.
