Auto fair ’12 organized by Rajasthan Motor Club at B.N. College ground concluded yesterday with a vibrant performance by ‘Dunes of Rajasthan’.

The performance of Classical Fusion by the band ‘Dunes of Rajasthan’ on the last day of this 3 day Fair along with the presence Harley Davidson bikes in the premises added further charm to the exhibition.

Prashant Kothari of Rajasthan Motor Club said, “I wanted to create a platform for Udaipur to know all these automobiles companies and looking at the crowd I must say it was a successful attempt. Harley Davidson remained the center of attraction. First days response was ok, but as people came to know about it, the number of visitors increased on the second and third day.”

23 stalls of illustrious automobile brands were put up in the fair. Companies like Harley Davidson, TATA, Mahindra, Fiat, Hyundai, Honda, Chevrolet, Ford, Toyota, Mahindra, Renault, Mahindra Navistar, Escorts, JCB, Volvo and AMW had displayed their vehicles.

“The public was not aware where dealers of these companies are located in the city. AMW alone received 45 enquires in just 3 days, whereas prior to this event they hardly received 10 queries a month. Harley got some very good responses; probably few of them will be confirmed by tomorrow”, added Prashant.

Machineries like Earth Movers, Heavy Transport Vehicles, etc. were exhibited by Volvo, TATA, Mahindra Construction Equipment and VE Commercial Vehicles in the same fair.

Talking about the arrangements of the fair he says, “I did lack in some management skills in this fair but will keep that in mind in the next fair that we are planning at Jodhpur with the same companies.”
