The participation in Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao competition by Lions Parisangh was noteworthy during the buttermilk distribution Camp at M. B. Hospital. This proves that they have sympathy for girl child.

Naveen Singh, the winner of yesterday told that God resides where women are respected but unfortunately this thought has remained in just books. That is why the need of Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao arose.

He also said that though we say that we consider daughters as our Lakshmi but the gender ratio tells it all in reality. Ramgopal Bunkar, second winner told that women need to be protected. Those who are killed in the womb should be exemplified with mother’s example.

Mayor Chandra Singh Kothari and Shamir Bansal from Pune gave awards to the winners.
