Bhutan King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuk and Queen Jetsun Pema Wangchuk arrived Udaipur tonight at 8pm by a special train. The royal couple was welcomed by Udaipur Municipal Corporation Chairperson Rajni Dangi and Udaipur District Collector Hemant Ghera.

The newly wed couple will stay at Hotel Leela Kempinski, on Sunday 30th October the couple will visit several places including Crystal Gallery at City Palace, Maharana Pratap Memorial, Moti Magri, Saheliyon ki Bari, Jagmandir Palace and Lok Kala Mandal.

Today, on their arrival at the railway station, several officials including Tariq Khan – chief protocol officer, Alok Vashisht – Superintendent of Police, and M.L Chouhan Additional Deputy Magistrate were present.

The couple will leave for New Delhi on Oct 31st by a special aircraft.
