A blood donation camp was organized today at Saifee Burhani Hospital and Diagnostic Centre by Saral blood bank on the occasion of 101^st birthday of His Holiness Dr. Syedna Mohammad Burhanuddin.

Besides a large number of young men, many women also contributed in this noble cause for humanity and in this way wished their spiritual leader.

52 units of blood of were donated which will be provided to needy and poor, free of cost. Uma Chundawat, Mohammad Sayeed Sheikh, Sister John and Abbas Ali Palanawala played a significant role in organizing the camp. The hospital management expressed gratitude to all those who donated blood.

Dr. B. Moomin, the spokesman of Shia Dawoodi Bohra Jamat said that a huge procession was taken out on Saturday 10^th March that started from Maharana Bhupal Stadium and after passing through Kharol colony, Burhani colony and other localities culminated at Fatehpura Mosque.

After the procession, prayers were carried out which comprises of narration of Quranic verses were conducted and then all wished for the long and healthy life of their leader.

On Sunday a live telecast of the procession held out from Surat in the presence of Dr Syedna Mohammad Burhanuddin was shown to the people in all the mosques of the city and all the devotees shouted slogans in happiness.
