Thalassemia affected kids require new dosages of blood every alternate week or so and hence it is very important to keep the blood bank updated. This effort was made to fulfill the same requirement and worked on the agenda of voluntary donation.

When asked about how was did he felt about the lack of response from the people, he smiled and said, ‘I suspected this might happen. Imagine how wonderful you feel after saving a life by donating blood. At the very least, even if I get 8 units of blood added to the bank today imagine how wonderful I’d be feeling at the end of the day.’

Though, the event was a little less publicized, in the near future more can be expected from social activists like Sahil.
