To add a new attraction for tourists and local masses, boat rides will soon be available in Dhudh Talai pond. Initiated with the efforts of Udaipur Municipal Corporation, the work order has been given to a contractor, whereby the first ride was dedicated to Sagasji Bawji earlier this morning.

Raj Kumar Bansal, the approved contractor for carrying out boat rides in the pond situated adjacent to Lake Pichola followed religious customary today morning, in which idol of Sagasji Bawji was worshiped and taken into boat for the first ride.

Bansal informed that official inauguration of boat ride facility will be done towards the end of this week in the presence of Mayor Rajni Dangi and other officials of UMC. Bansal further added that fare of the rides are divided into two categories, Indian tourist will have to pay Rs. 40 for two seater and Rs. 75 for four seater boat, whereas foreign tourists will pay Rs. 80 and Rs. 150, respectively for the same rides.
